june pretty much flew by, didn't it? i've got a bunch of july birthdays coming up, including my own. i will be doing birthday art for those (close friends) who have birthdays coming up, too.
commissions are still very much open! i'll be working on another one here in a few minutes (coloring stage) and hope to have that one posted tonight. if you're interested, fill out the form on my profile
i've also been thinking of creating new accounts everywhere i'm associated with. nothing huge, just dropping the "622". i've already changed Twitter, LJ and Skype over and even created another AIM with it. hopefully, it'll be a bit easier to remember - it's easier for me!
i'll be taking nanuka's advice on refreshing and updating references and posting them first on both art sites when i finally to change over. (thanks, chick - good idea!) so it won't be RIGHTAWAYOMG. it'll be a few days. i'll be sure to let you know where i'll be if you still want to follow and chat with me <3
pregnancy is going very well, too. 18 weeks tomorrow and i just started to feel him kick about a week ago - which is awesome. the kid is so active! o_o but it's really cool to feel every now and then. little kicks and jabs. i go back for a doctor's visit on the 13th so maybe we'll find out what we're having then! we're in the process of deciding baby names... so far, nothing we both like, haha. challenge!
i worked my ass off yesterday with Josh doing a big $800 landscaping job. (didn't push myself too hard, obviously) it was an easy day, just long. i posted a LJ about it all with before and after pics if you're interested in my other job.

i'm still very much alive, guys. just been taking care of a lot of offline, real life priorities. (family, house stuff, work, doctor's appointments) now that i'm pretty much caught up with most of the household chores, i've got time to get back to the grind with commissions. actually about to jump into inking one atm.
i've got a doc's appointment tomorrow - more or less just a nurse visit so we should be in and out pretty quickly. more bloodwork. i absolutely HATE needles. (says the girl with 6 tattoos and a pierced tongue. hah)
anything to keep up on the pregnancy - which is going great. i'm over the morning sickness now and into the cravings. still can't wait to find out what we're having. exciting times
other than that.. i'll be multi-tasking with getting the rest of the household chores and more art. once i get a few of these coms finished i'll open for more. just pacing myself.

haven't done it in a very long time. my aunt seems to keep me on top of it though. there's not a single room in her huge house that doesn't have my artwork in it. from murals on the walls to canvas paintings for the kids. about a month ago she gave me two 24x36" canvases (one for each of her girls) to do some work on. Shelby, the older one, is more into the hippie-type artwork so i'll be doing colorful peace signs for her. Lexie, youngest, is in love with sea turtles. i've actually just finished up the sea turtle painting last night and i'm just about to start on the peace signs here in a minute.
reason i'm letting you all know is 1) i'll have a couple shots of some traditional artwork to post much later and, 2) those of you waiting on commissions, i'm taking a day off from them to finish this project up.
like i said, i've had these for a month now and i've been putting them off to finish up online orders instead. tomorrow we're having graduation parties for my sister and brother (finishing up school) and my entire family will be there, so i want to make sure i have these done so i can pass them off to her.
hope you guys understand!
as much as i love going back and visiting traditional la-la land, i don't know if i'll do much more of it since my dad wants his printer/scanner back. i may poke around with it later, though. found my colored pencils and a fresh sketchbook, so i may start doing some work in there just for the hell of it. :]

please forgive the slight delay in commission posting. i've been a bit on the icky side with a cold/headache and the nausea from the pregnancy. i am starting to feel a bit better, though, so i'll be getting back to work today. just finished updating everything i've got in queue (minus the huge projects i've got for my aunt and my dad IRL - which i may end up posting those, too).
just wanted to let everyone know and not to freak out if you've got a pending order from me!
